MoneyWatch has been given a small facelift to bring it in line with the forthcoming release of NotesHub.
NotesHub, like MoneyWatch, is a mobile-friendly PHP web application that is installed on your own web server/web space.
I created NotesHub because I’m not a fan of how EverNote does things (mainly the over reliance on tags) and couldn’t find anything better that would allow me to read and edit notes on my desktop PCs, tablet and mobile phone. It uses a traditional hierarchical tree structure which makes things a lot easier to navigate. Each user in NotesHub can create any number of NoteBooks (which can have an icon and colour to help you distinguish between them), and each NoteBook can have any number of notes (which can also be colour coded and have an icon assigned).
