Asylum – Developer Diary Day 49
With moving day fast approaching work on Asylum has been slower than normal. Over the last couple of weeks, since the last update, I’ve been working on the other visual elements of the courtyard; the stairs to the main doors (main doors aren’t done yet), the roof segments, windows on the opposite walls with grime decals.
These are all coming along nicely so far.
The lightmap resolution has been reduced for the time being as well just so I can quickly make sure the lighting is in the right places. Please note that the screen shot below doesn’t have the grass surface in the courtyard hence the ground is black. I’m also planning on adding a skybox to show the moon and a little bit of cloud. I have also artificially increased the brightness of the image for those with a dark monitor.
